Inclusion Fund

If you have a child at your setting who has some extra needs, they may qualify for additional funding. To apply for Level 1 Inclusion or Level 2 High Needs Funding, contact the Early Years Team on 0121 704 6150 or SISS team on 0121 704 6690 or apply online.

Level 1 Inclusion Funding (3 and 4 year olds only) is paid at a rate of £1.46/hour or a fixed fee following an application to fund equipment.

Level 2 High Needs Funding is paid at the basic hourly rate to 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

The Family Information Service make the Inclusion Fund payments following the headcount payments on a termly basis. The Family Information Service will notify you once the Inclusion Fund payments have been processed. If you have any queries regarding your Inclusion Fund payment please contact the Family Information Service.

Your Inclusion Funding will be paid as a weighting (or adjustment if only for part of the term) and is including in your headcount payment each term. You can view details of weightings or adjustments by logging into your provider portal account. Weightings appear next to the child’s name on the actuals tab. You will need to look on each year group to see weightings and adjustments for all children.
