The national governors’ association are offering Solihull governors the chance to participate in their chairs’ development programme. This programme is funded by the department for education and is therefore available to you free of charge. It provides chairs, vice chairs, committee chairs and future chairs opportunities for developing leadership skills and confident governance. Details can be found on the website below.
To mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019, Solihull School and The Anne Frank Trust UK are very pleased to invite you and a group of your students to the European Schools’ premiere of the highly acclaimed documentary No Asylum: The Untold Chapter of Anne Frank’s Story and to a Q&A afterwards with Holocaust survivors Tomi Reichental and Mindu Hornick. Eva Schloss MBE, Anne Frank's step-sister will also be attending the screening.
This will take place at Solihull School, 793 Warwick Road, Solihull B91 3DJ as part of a series of events and activities to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019. Please see the attached letter and link for further details.
