To mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019, Solihull School and The Anne Frank Trust UK are very pleased to invite you and a group of your students to the European Schools’ premiere of the highly acclaimed documentary No Asylum: The Untold Chapter of Anne Frank’s Story and to a Q&A afterwards with Holocaust survivors Tomi Reichental and Mindu Hornick. Eva Schloss MBE, Anne Frank's step-sister will also be attending the screening.
This will take place at Solihull School, 793 Warwick Road, Solihull B91 3DJ as part of a series of events and activities to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019. Please see the attached letter and link for further details.

Solihull local authority will continue to offer an NQT appropriate body service for 2019/2020 and the cost remains at £50 per NQT. The registration form, full details and supporting paperwork can be found on the Solgrid education information NQT page.
This training is for new NQT mentors or those who have not had training for two years or more.
The additional date for this training is Tuesday 10 September 2019, 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Sans Souci and will be led by the senior education improvement adviser with responsibility for NQTs for a cost of £70. The training will help mentors to understand their statutory responsibilities and how to support NQTs to be successful in their induction.
