For the tenth anniversary of My Money Week, My Money (formerly pfeg) have developed exciting and brand new digital video resources for primary and secondary schools which offer an interactive learning experience with short videos focused on making money decisions.
Primary pupils will explore raising and saving money and charitable giving by making decisions on behalf of the school council featured in the videos. Secondary students will consider mobile phones, insurance and risk by making decisions on behalf of the young people featured in the videos.

Join hundreds of UK and overseas schools in this years Spirited Arts competition!
Now in its 15th year, our annual competition has attracted over 320,000 participants (averaging 20,000 per year!), with 2,000 entries being sent in to NATRE each year for judging. Hundreds of UK schools get involved, and we get entries coming from as far afield as Cyprus and Australia, Indonesia and South Africa.
The annual competition starts at the beginning of every school year and runs through to 31 July, in order to enable teachers to incorporate the art competition into their RE lessons. Many schools have an ‘Art in Heaven’ unit of work, or a special learning RE/arts week.
Judging by RE Today Advisers and students, takes place in August and winners are announced in the new academic year.
Please note the date for the deputy heads' conference, given in the May 2019 SSSAB newsletter, has changed to Thursday 3 October 2019. Further details and invitations will be sent via Head Lines in September.
Education Secretary Damian Hinds has launched a clampdown on agencies charging schools “excessive” fees to recruit staff and advertise vacancies. To help combat these costs, the Secretary of State has announced a free website has been launched to advertise vacancies. Please see link below for more information.
