October 18, 2018

Babcock Prime on behalf of WCC and in association with Solihull LA, are delighted to bring you an exciting and informative masterclass, focussing on the future of the early years, unravelling the Bold Beginnings Report and examining its ongoing implications.

Gill Jones, Ofsted HMI, will present the findings of the Bold Beginnings review, focussing on the importance of the reception year and how the recommendations could support school improvement. Gill will also discuss future publications and themes that have been identified during the inspection of early years such as: physical development, managing risk and qualification requirements in EYFS. Gill will be available for a question and answer session which will provide a valuable opportunity to review the future of early years inspections, and the new inspection framework from September 2019.

Early years strategic leaders from both local authorities will present on the primary assessment consultation document, the pilot early years framework and the future of the EYFS agenda nationally.
