Solihull trauma informed thematic workshops
October 7, 2025
The Solihull Safeguarding Children Partnership is excited to present a series of online and in-person workshops in collaboration with Barnardo’s for decision-makers and professionals, focusing on key themes around trauma.
These sessions will deepen understanding and strengthen trauma informed responses. Trauma affects individuals, families, and communities in profound ways. Whether through racialised trauma, cumulative harm, generational adversity or the impact of secondary traumas felt by our workforce, its impact is far-reaching.
Solihull recognises the urgent need for a unified, culturally safe, and sustainable approach to trauma informed practice, one that empowers professionals, prevents harm, supports healing, and strengthens community wellbeing.
