Chartwells & Feeding Britain School Foods Standards Training for HAF Provision

This virtual training session will be run by Chartwells school nutritionists in partnership with Feeding Britain, and will provide guidance around the School Food Standards to support you in delivering nutritious food as part of your HAF provision. We will also cover best practices and top tips for allergen management, and there will be opportunities for Q&A during the session. This session is free and will last for 1 hour.
The training will assist you to ensure that all food and drink products will be stored, prepared and served in compliance with all relevant UK food safety legislation and in accordance with good industry practice and relevant industry standards or codes of practice.
Chartwells have developed this support for holiday clubs to assist in providing a healthy nutritious meal to the children attending. There are a couple of sessions this June that they would like to offer to you. It’s a free one-hour long session and there will be the opportunity for Q&A.
Chartwells are currently offering training for the UK Government’s School Food Standards (School-Food-Standards-Guidance-FINAL-V3.pdf). Chartwells nutritionists will give examples of how to use the standards in practise, be on hand to answer live questions and show you our top tips on making the standards work for you. They will also cover some tops tips and best practices around allergen management. Below are the links to register, there are 2 sessions, but they will be the same, so you only need to attend one.
