Solihull Moors Football Club will be running the FA Primary Teachers’ Award (PTA) FREE of charge after half term. The course is aimed at qualified teachers including those that are newly qualified. The course will be running at CTC Kingshurst Academy, Cooks Lane, Solihull, B37 6NU on Monday 26th February & Monday 5th March 2018 from 4pm – 7pm both nights. Childnet International has launched a film competition for children and young people aged 7-18 to share their understanding of online safety issues. The competition is open to UK primary and secondary schools and youth organisations. The closing date is 11 June 2018.

The PSHE Association have recently been involved in the development of the new UKCCIS (UK Council for Child Internet Safety) framework, alongside online safety experts including CEOP, the NSPCC and Barnardo’s. The Education for a Connected World framework will help PSHE teachers review their curriculum to ensure pupils are prepared to understand and handle online risks.

K2 Development are working with a number of schools across the West Midlands to support them with accessing and using their apprenticeship levy.  Our apprenticeships include Team Leadership at Level 3 (12 months) and Operational Management at level 5 (24 months) and focus on developing leadership potential in our schools.  The courses are aimed at potential or existing school leaders and are available for both teaching and support staff.
