University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Solihull and Heartlands hospitals, is asking all schools to pass on an important message to parents about where to take their children in the event of an accident. Attached below is a brief letter to headteachers, a letter to send to parents and a poster which can be put up at school.
The Fiveway Cafes have now produced a promotional video. In it, young people explain why the cafe is important to them. The video and further information can be found below.
We are delighted to be able to share with you an opportunity provided by colleagues at Solihull School and the Anne Frank Trust UK. Please see the letter for more information about the European Schools’ premiere of the highly acclaimed documentary No Asylum: The Untold Chapter of Anne Frank’s Story and to a Q&A afterwards with Holocaust survivors Tomi Reichental and Mindu Hornick. This will take place as part of a series of events and activities to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019.
Solihull’s annual commemorative service marking Holocaust Memorial Day will take place on the Thursday 24th January 2019.
