assessment and moderation
We are having a key stage one data day. This will be an opportunity for senior leaders to analyse their key stage one data and work with the local authority data team and school improvement team. It will be specifically useful for infant schools who do not attend data day on the 9 July 2019. It is a drop in session but if you could inform us at inset@solihull.gov.uk if you intend to attend that would be useful.
The session is at Sans Souci from 10am to 2pm on the 2nd July 2019
This update provides information on the phonics screening check, KS1 and KS2 statutory requirements and the multiplication tables check (MTC) pilot.

This handbook provides key information about the statutory moderation processes at early years foundation stage and key stages 1 and 2. It does not replace statutory guidance but provides a local context. Revisions include:
- changes to KS2 meet the moderator date
- clarification around processes where insufficient evidence is found at KS1 and 2
- further clarification within the local agreement
- further clarification about the LA quality assurance process
