We are putting on an event at Sans Souci (10am - 4.30pm) on the day the key stage two results are released by DfE; by this date all other end of key stage data should also be available. We invite headteachers to bring their data and use some or all of the day to analyse their results and identify key priorities for the following year.

The data team and the school advisers will be on hand to work with you to help you make sense of your data and start to make comparisons with the provisional national picture. Members of EIMS will also be available to talk you through how you can analysis your data using SIMS.  You should go away with a clear analysis of your schools data for 2018. You can attend with another member of your SLT and can work independently or as groups with the support you need on hand in the room. More information will follow.

To help us with numbers, if you intend to come along on the day please could you let us know by email to: inset@solihull.gov.uk

Contacts: Clair McNeill (SEIS) & Kate Sirrett (EIMS)

Schools should now have received their booking forms for next year’s Music Service provision. The service is more than happy to come and look at your needs on a school by school basis and can help with what level of charges to pass on to parents and ensure that you are getting the best value for money. We are aware that there are many other competitors offering services out there, sometimes at reduced prices,  but not necessarily with the quality checks, wider enrichment  and accountability that we can offer.  We are very keen to continue to engage with schools to ensure that what we offer is of the highest quality and is tailored to the needs of the school. We have a really exciting enrichment programme planned for next year and really want as many schools as possible to engage with it.

If you wish to discuss your Music Provision further then please contact Toby Smith at: stsmith@solmus.solgrid.org.uk.
