Internet access issue

Our internet service provider, Janet, is experiencing a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack. Although this doesn’t appear to be affecting us at Solihull, it may result in some slower responses on the internet than usual and or the loss of access to certain sites.
A distributed denial of service attack causes disruption to services but networks and data in our schools are not at any higher risk of compromise due to this attack. Janet engineers are working on identifying and blocking the IP addresses that are being used to mount the attack.
