Solihull Healthy Schools

The Solihull Healthy Schools’ programme has been developed in consultation with schools. Almost all schools in Solihull have been recognised as ‘Healthy Schools’ through demonstrating that they provide an effective foundation for health and wellbeing within their school community.

The aim of the Solihull Healthy Schools’ programme is to support and improve the health and wellbeing of all pupils and staff in our schools.

Schools self-validate as maintaining their Healthy School status through the completion of a Whole School Review of health and wellbeing every two years. Schools who wish to participate in a more focussed piece of health improvement can work towards Enhanced Healthy School status.
