Earlier this year Solihull local authority was successful in its bid for additional funding to support the take up of 30 hours by early education funded children. We have been able to book Julie Revels to deliver EYFS SEND training in June. Julie has supported the development of the NASEN EY SEND training materials and has a vast range of experience as a trainer and consultant specialising in inclusion in the early years. Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) is an evidence-based, low-cost parenting programme. It combines peer-led parenting groups with training, supervision and support provided by parenting specialists based in local services. In Solihull, the courses would be offered in three wards: Chelmsley Wood, Kingshurst & Fordbridge and Smiths Wood to vulnerable families with children with behaviour conduct issues aged 2-11 years initially.
