Please sign the Solihull zero suicide pledge as part of the council’s action plan to reduce suicides in Solihull.

Solihull Council has taken the pledge and has made a commitment to look out for your wellbeing. We also ask you to look out for the wellbeing of each other.

The pledge is all about looking after family, friends and colleagues, becoming more aware of any concerning changes and asking if they are OK. You can make your personal pledge here. The pledge has a link to online training to help you spot the warning signs in other and signpost others to help.

Solihull Council is launching the ‘Solihull Zero Suicide Pledge’ on Monday 10 September to support World Suicide Prevention Day and we need your help to promote the Pledge.   

The Pledge is all about looking after family, friends and colleagues, becoming more aware of any concerning changes and asking if they are ok.  There is free online training to help people spot the warning signs in others and details of support services are provided. 

Please encourage your staff and parents to sign up to the Pledge.

The Reading Den is a specialist books, stories and resources for parents, carers and children based at Chelmsley Wood Library. The Chelmsley Wood Reading Den is provided by the Solihull Library Service, in conjunction with Solar, the emotional wellbeing and mental health service for children and young people in Solihull.
