A new Fiveway Café will be opening up shortly at Windy Arbor Primary School for young people aged 11-16. For further information which can be shared with your school community containing information about all of the Fiveway Cafes across the borough, please see the posters below.
Solihull Moors Football Club will be running the FA Primary Teachers Award (PTA) FREE of charge after half term. The course is aimed at qualified teachers including those that are newly qualified.
The course will be running at Solihull Moors F.C., The Automated Technology Group Stadium, Damson Parkway, Solihull, West Midlands, B91 2PP on Monday 4th June from 9am – 4pm.
There are only 20 places available. Please see the flier for further information.

All professionals working with children and young people, including schools and education professionals, have a legal obligation (section 175 of the Education Act 2002; section 47 of the Children Act 1989) to safeguard children, promote their welfare and protect them from harm. Part of this responsibility includes taking action to enable all children to have the best possible outcomes.The NASUWT have released guidance for schools (see link below). In addition, Solihull council’s website offers further government guidance, information and useful links in regards to Forced Marriage and Honour Based Abuse, in addition to a link to free training which includes resources to use within your organisation.
