Training is being offered by the Mosaic/Evolve collaborative on Friday 6 March, 1.00 - 3.30pm at Greswold primary school at a cost £45.

The session will be led by Lisa Sabotig, Educational Psychologist and will cover:

  • The importance of self reflection on our own emotional states.
  • The need to develop and maintain appropriate support systems around us.
  • Analysing and understanding our own mental health and well-being needs.

Parent/carer support meeting, 7-9pm at Marston Green Parish Hall, free to members and £5 for non-members. We will be discussing "what is dyspraxia and how do we talk to our children about it?"

Supporting pupils with dyspraxia in mainstream schools - this is an evening event, 7-9pm with talks from a range of professionals including Sally Payne (OT) and Jo Shilton (SISS). It is aimed at teachers, teaching assistants and other professionals working in schools and also may be of interest to some parents wishing to educate/inform/support teachers. Tickets cost £7 for members and £15 for non-members.

The government is asking people for their views on a green paper setting out measures to improve mental health support for children and young people.

 

The green paper focuses on earlier intervention and prevention, especially in and linked to schools and colleges. To add your voice to the consultation process, please see the link below. You may wish to share this information more widely with parents/carers and where appropriate, pupils.
