Solihull Council and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have launched a new website about services and support available locally for children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND, and their families.

From social care, community health services and education to preparing for adulthood, social activities and employment, the ‘Solihull Local Offer’ provides a whole host of useful information about the wide range of services people can access and the support they are entitled to. Please see updated list of training attached offered by Tudor Grange teaching school this term which now includes some additional maths training. Also attached is the updated NQT training programme including maths specific training on page 2.

DfE are providing teachers with advance notice of revised KS1 and KS2 versions to be used from next year. Please find the revised documents below.

This training is for new NQT mentors or those who have not had training for 2 years or more.

It will take place on Monday 8 July, 1pm - 4pm at Sans Souci and will be led by the senior education improvement adviser with responsibility for NQTs. Cost £70.

The training will help mentors to understand their statutory responsibilities and how to support NQTs to be successful in their induction.
