Following last year’s successful event SSSAB is delighted to invite you to this year’s deputy headteachers’ conference at Ardencote Hotel on Thursday 3 October 2019.

The conference is titled ‘Everyone’s talking about the Curriculum’ and we are pleased to offer one place for each school at no charge. There is a small fee for any additional delegates.

Please see the attached documents for full details and a booking form to be returned by Tuesday 17 September 2019.

It is important that you reserve a place if you wish to attend, to ensure there is sufficient seating and catering.

An extraordinary heads’ partnership meeting will take place at 5.00pm on Tuesday, 1 October in the council chamber and all Solihull head teachers and chairs of governors are invited to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the overspend on the high needs block.

The agenda is attached to this announcement.

The meeting will commence at 5.00pm and refreshments will be available in the coffee bar from 4.45pm. Free parking is available around the council house from 4.30pm when the car park barrier is raised.

We have great pleasure in inviting you to the annual head teachers’ conference, which will be held at Ardencote Manor. We can offer one free place to each school that contributed in 2017-2018. For those schools that did not contribute there will be a fee of £390 for each participant.

Solihull Heads’ Partnership Meeting at Ardencote Hotel is taking place at 8.30am - 12.15pm on Thursday 28th March 2019 (please note change of venue).  SSSAB is delighted to announce that Sir John Jones will be the keynote speaker so this is likely to be a very popular event.  Please see invitation, booking form and further details attached below.
