An information booklet for schools and families on hypermobility has been produced by community health professional and teachers within the SISS Physical Disability Team (see link below). This is part of a graduated response to ensure that appropriate interventions have been put into effect before a referral is made to occupational therapists or physiotherapists. It identifies areas of difficulty and provides practical ideas to help children and young people manage  their condition.  The matrix is used to record interventions and responses as supporting evidence for health professionals.
