All maintained schools and academies with primary age children in Solihull are now using the Jigsaw PSHE resource. An important aspect of this provision is age appropriate relationship and sex education. In order to support best practice and the changes ahead regarding statutory relationships education in primary schools from September 2019, I am delighted to be able to invite you to a free one day course on the 13th March. In last week’s Head Lines we shared details with you of events to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. We are now able to provide further details regarding an invitation from Solihull School and Remembering Srebrenica to all schools with secondary age children within the borough to attend a very special event. On the 26th January they will be hosting the British premiere of the highly acclaimed documentary Condemned to Remember. For details of how to book on this event, please see letter below.
