Female genital mutilation (FGM) campaign

The Home Office launched a Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) campaign on 5 October . This campaign aims to educate communities about the long-term health consequences of FGM, raising awareness that it is illegal and signposting to the NSPCC FGM helpline for support, advice or to report.

Please find below a partner pack for your information, you’ll see that there are links within the pack where you can download the campaign materials to share on your social media channels.

We also attach a letter for all staff to read to remind them about their statutory duty to report female genital mutilation and how to do this.
