The government is asking people for their views on a green paper setting out measures to improve mental health support for children and young people.

The green paper focuses on earlier intervention and prevention, especially in and linked to schools and colleges. To add your voice to the consultation process, please see the link below. You may wish to share this information more widely with parents/carers and where appropriate, pupils.

The aims of the sessions are to train pupils to offer support to their peers, and to help them in the creation and delivery of campaigns within school that reduce the stigma and discrimination around mental health. If your school is interested in developing a team of Mental Health Ambassadors, please contact Nicky Gilbert ngilbert@solihull.gov.uk or Gary Mcleod gmcleod@solihull.gov.uk from Engage.
