The Education SEND Group operates as a reference group to the SEND Board, Solihull Schools Strategic Accountability Board and Schools Forum on matters of Special Educational Needs and Disability and Inclusion and has some decision-making powers.

Solihull Schools Forum was established as part of the requirements of the Education Act 2002. The principal requirement is for Local Authorities to consult their Schools Forums on a range of financial matters concerning schools’ budgets.
