St Patrick’s Church
Original church built in 1840, tower with 5 bells and a clock, added in 1861.
Nave demolished and rebuilt in 1899. The church is the finest example, still intact, of the work of the architect William Bridlake and contains two fine wall paintings by the Birmingham artist Bernard Sleigh.
The church welcomes visitors and a member of the clergy or the congregation would be available to talk to pupils either in school or on a visit.
