St Nicholas Parish Church
The present church was built in 1792 by Abraham Spooner, although there has been a church on the site since Saxon times.
Building has historical links with William Wilberforce MP who married Spooner’s granddaughter. Fine alabaster wall
memorials. A modern extension added to church in the 1970s.
The church welcomes visitors and speakers would be available to talk to pupils both on visits and in school.
Visits could be combined with the Elmdon Heritage walk.
