Oracle EBIZ system is unavailable over bank holiday weekend (from Saturday 27 August at 8am until Tuesday 30 August at 8am)

We need to move the Oracle system, which is large and complex, from the old data centre to the new one.  To move it and get it running and tested will take time, so Oracle will be unavailable for three days. To limit the impact on users this is being done over this Bank Holiday weekend. I apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience that might cause.

The following Oracle services will not be available:

• Self-service
• Financials
• Human resources

If you experience any issues on Tuesday morning, please log a service desk call.

We have been moving equipment from the old data centre to the new data centre for some months. Over 200 servers have been moved so far, including 20 EICTS servers. Most of these server moves have been done with very little or no loss of service.
