Built originally around 1840, with rendered nave and tower; red brick chancel and transepts added circa 1890. Reordered internally 1996/98.

Curiously built with high altar at west end instead of east.

The church welcomes visitors and the vicar or a member of the congregation would be available to talk to pupils either in the church or in school.
