EY SEND: Free Social Communication in the Early Years ( Advanced) Training

This training offer focuses specifically on social communication in the early years. If you have accessed previous training in supporting speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) in early years settings, or you are already more knowledgeable in supporting SLCN, this training is for you. I CAN’s ‘Supporting Social Communication in the Early Years’ is accessible via two live webinars, spaced a fortnight apart. The course includes a learning opportunity to be carried out between the two webinars. Over the two sessions you will learn about typical social communication development in the early years, how to identify social communication needs, strategies to support children with identified needs and have a clear understanding of your role with children with social communication difficulties.
