The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all employees involved in the recruitment and/or management of Council/School employees, volunteers or contractors have an understanding of the Disclosure process and their responsibilities within the process.
The document seeks to ensure that the responsibilities of educational settings leaders
towards children and staff are discharged by raising awareness of illegal, unsafe,
unprofessional and unwise behaviour.
