Are you a primary headteacher who wants to further develop your skills in coaching… This free programme led by CUREE incorporates a bespoke mix of face to face continuing professional development and learning experiences with live coaching and videos, tools and resources including selected packs from the effective mentoring and coaching (EMAC) suite. Global Action Plan are offering free one-day workshops to a teacher and 30 students aged 11-18 (ideally at the older end of the scale), looking at the impact of consumerism on young people’s wellbeing.
In the workshop, they will give students tools to look after their own mental wellbeing, question our relationship with ‘stuff’, and build resilience to – and spot – when they’re being advertised to. Content from the workshop will then be used as part of a national campaign – the first of its kind – giving students the chance to have their voices heard by hundreds of policy makers and industry influencers.
They will deliver the workshops at your school. They currently have availability for:
- w/c 25th February
- w/c 4th March
