Please see details attached below of the Solihull Partnership CPD programme and NQT programme for the autumn term.

Please find below the link to invite you to attend an Early Years event with Gill Jones HMI, Deputy Director of Early Education at Ofsted. Gill will be talking about future publications and themes that have been identified during Ofsted’s inspection of early years. It is also an opportunity to reflect alongside colleagues from Worcestershire.

In response to the Ofsted publication ‘Bold Beginnings’, Solihull have invited Helen Moylett and Nancy Stewart to lead an afternoon of exploration and debate to reflect on the key themes of the  report. Nancy and Helen were National Strategy co-authors of Development Matters and were involved in writing the Early Years Foundation Stage and also contributed to the EYFS Tickell review.

On 30th April 2018, between 1pm-4pm at Sans Souci, they will lead our consideration of high quality provision for reception age children. One place per school will be available, in the first instance, for Solihull Head Teachers/EYFS leads.

To apply for a place, please email the delegate name to: inset@solihull.gov.uk

There will be a charge of £70 for the half-day session. Additional places may be offered to schools that have requested multiple-places and are on the waiting list if space allows [allocated in the order in which they are requested]. The report will also be a key agenda item on the EYFS leaders and managers meetings in the spring.

Primary Headteachers, Members of SLT and Subject Leaders are invited to attend FREE* CPD with James Clements, Independent English Adviser. 20th June at Tudor Grange School. Please note the start time is 9.00am (not 9.30am as previously advertised).

Please see flyer attached below for full details.
