This year, for the first time, we are holding our conference in the stimulating environment of the Black Country Living Museum. We are delighted to have Martin Phillips and Benjamin Smith as our keynote speakers.

There will be a providers’ exhibition and, as an additional bonus, delegates will be free to explore the Black Country Living Museum after the forum at no extra cost to the conference fee.

Please see the attached document for more details.

The autumn term programmes are now available to view.

Due to increased non-attendance at core activities and briefings, we will be charging a nominal amount of £10 per delegate to cover administration costs if cancellation is not received at least 24 hours in advance of the event.

The CPD event is appropriate for both primary and secondary schools.

We are having a key stage one data day. This will be an opportunity for senior leaders to analyse their key stage one data and work with the local authority data team and school improvement team. It will be specifically useful for infant schools who do not attend data day on the 9 July 2019. It is a drop in session but if you could inform us at inset@solihull.gov.uk if you intend to attend that would be useful.

The session is at Sans Souci from 10am to 2pm on the 2nd July 2019

If you haven’t already done so, please book your place at Solihull heads’ partnership meeting at Ardencote Hotel at 8.30am – 12.30pm on Thursday 27 June 2019 (please note change of venue).

SSSAB is delighted to announce that Helen Youngman will be speaking about the big Ofsted curriculum conversation which is primary focussed.

Please see attached documents for more information.  Replies required by Wednesday 12 June 2019.
