The Reading Den is a specialist books, stories and resources for parents, carers and children based at Chelmsley Wood Library. The Chelmsley Wood Reading Den is provided by the Solihull Library Service, in conjunction with Solar, the emotional wellbeing and mental health service for children and young people in Solihull. The aims of the sessions are to train pupils to offer support to their peers, and to help them in the creation and delivery of campaigns within school that reduce the stigma and discrimination around mental health. Summer 2018 brings an exciting anti-bullying opportunity for schools across the Midlands.

KiVa is an innovative school-based, anti-bullying program which has been developed using extensive research on bullying and its mechanisms. KiVa is a program designed for schools to prevent and tackle bullying swiftly and effectively.
