Guidance for writing a mobile device policy

Solihull Council has developed guidance to help schools make sure that mobile devices – including mobile phones, cameras, tablets, and similar devices – are used safely in schools and elsewhere when used for school business. The guidance has been presented to the safeguarding sub-group, the consultative committee, and SSSAB. It is aimed to apply to all adults working in and with schools.

The document is in rich-text format (RTF) so schools can amend the guidance as necessary. It also includes signage templates for use around the school.

The guidance is available on the Solgrid website, on the safeguarding online safety page. You can get to the page by clicking this link.
