A varied and exciting programme, perfect for those in their early years of teaching.

To be held on Tuesday 2 July 2019 at Tudor Grange Academy Solihull, 9:00am – 3:20pm.

For booking details and further information please see the attached flyer and agenda for the day.

Talk for reading focuses on the way that children’s talk underpins the development of their reading (and writing).

We will look at:

The development of talk; the crucial role of serve and return conversations; building firm foundations in communication and language to support reading.

Research findings related to language and early reading – what are the implications for learning and teaching, looking at the proposed revisions to the EYFS?

Ask the question “When does talk turn into reading?”

Please see flier below for more details.

The 2019-20 service package and training programme for school governors has been issued to chairs and clerks of governors. The programme can be found on GovernorHub in the ‘useful documents’ folder in ‘resources’.
