Solihull Schools Strategic Accountability Board provides a strategic and overarching body that represents all schools and academies within Solihull in relation to partnership development, securing value for money and leading strategic development.

Solihull Schools Forum was established as part of the requirements of the Education Act 2002. The principal requirement is for Local Authorities to consult their Schools Forums on a range of financial matters concerning schools' budgets.

Children in education provision funded by the local authority, who were adopted from local authority care or who have left care under a special guardianship or child arrangements order, (formally known as a residence order), are eligible to attract the Pupil Premium. A statement for headteachers to include in communications to parents is available below.

The Education SEND Group operates as a reference group to the SEND Board, Solihull Schools Strategic Accountability Board and Schools Forum on matters of Special Educational Needs and Disability and Inclusion and has some decision-making powers.
