Following on from the release of the Careers Strategy on 4th December 2017, the Careers Statutory Guidance for schools has now been published. The guidance has been restructured around Gatsby Charitable Foundation’s Benchmarks –the same benchmarks that underpin Life Ready a local project developed with Headteachers and Senior Teaching staff. Solihull Council has replaced its secure email system used to send particularly sensitive information. The notes explain how to use the system should someone at Solihull Council send you a secure email. Please note this should not affect many schools; existing email communications between most schools and Solihull Councl is already secure.

A one day conference for Secondary NQT practitioners in Solihull.

This day will incorporate a number of key sessions with a on wellbeing and mindfulness, covering topics such as:

  • “Every child is one adult away from a success story”
  • “Children do not care what you know until they know that you care”
  • “Just a thought”

as well as opportunities for networking with Secondary NQT’s across Solihull.
