Anti-bullying week 2018 – Choose Respect

Anti-Bullying Week 2018 is happening from 12th – 16th November and has the theme Choose Respect. We all know that every week is really anti-bullying week; but to help you focus attention on this high profile opportunity to raise awareness within your school or setting, we have collected together some of the many organisations and charities providing resources and materials for schools and settings. There are many more out there!

The Anti Bullying Alliance (ABA) are official organisers of Anti-Bullying Week. Please see the website for resources, ideas and inspiration for ways in which your school can mark the week.

BullyingUK also have a range of free resources and materials to raise awareness during anti-bullying week. This includes a video made by the Pauline Quirke Academy  about bullying or banter and why it is important to make a noise about bullying.

Ditch the Label is a charity that has a specific focus upon supporting young people aged 12-25 who have been bullied or experienced the impact of bullying. As well as supporting young people, they also have resources and materials for schools which aim to explore and tackle the root issues related to bullying.

The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Campaign involves a number of different projects aimed at reducing bullying in schools. Their resources aim to give you lots of ideas for ways to mark Anti-Bullying Week in your school.]]>
